Job Title: HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC technician to join our team at Trillium Farms. As an HVAC technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure the comfort and safety of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Identify maintenance risks on equipment and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
  • Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to colleagues.
  • Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 1+ year experience as an HVAC technician, with a willingness to continue education in the HVAC field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
  • Working knowledge of boiler systems.
  • Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
  • Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
