Job Title: Charge Nurse

At Surgery Care Affiliates, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical nursing care are maintained in our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support a team of nurses, providing guidance and direction as needed.
  • Manage the admission, discharge, and flow of patients into the operating room, ensuring efficient and effective care.
  • Assign nurses and support staff to patients/rooms, prioritizing tasks and adapting to emergencies as needed.
  • Provide education and training to new nurses and staff, developing and implementing training courses as required.
Administrative Duties:
  • Create schedules and maintain adequate supplies, ensuring the smooth operation of the nursing department.
  • Inform staff of changes to protocol and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Nursing Duties:
  • Provide patient care, circulating in surgical rooms as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working with patients and other nurses to ensure effective care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the State required.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
  • PALS/ACLS (this can be obtained).

Compensation: USD $55.00/Hr.
