Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. This role involves presenting products in a visually appealing way to attract consumers at our customer retail locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs
  • Physically moves products from the backroom and places them on display
  • Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on display and shelves where permitted
  • Organizes and maintains the backroom by stacking and arranging products by package and flavor
  • Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests and proactive pricing

Requirements

  • Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing
  • Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a variety of customers
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision

Work Environment

The work environment will vary, including exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas which may be non-temperature controlled.
