Position Overview

The American Society of Extracorporeal Technology is in search of two dedicated perfusion specialists to enhance our esteemed team.

Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking:

  • One seasoned perfusionist or a strong recent graduate to provide support across multiple facilities.
  • One experienced professional to step into the role of Chief Perfusionist at a designated location.
Team Dynamics

Our collective of 13 perfusionists operates within a forward-thinking organization, collaborating with a team of 11 cardiothoracic surgeons and 6 vascular surgeons across five hospitals.

Clinical Focus

The primary caseload includes:

  • Adult Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CABGs)
  • Valve surgeries
  • Aortic dissections
  • Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacements (TAVRs)
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $135,000 - $190,000 with an attractive benefit of 6 weeks of Paid Time Off.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess ABCP certification or be eligible for certification within one year of employment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical and communication skills, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong work ethic.
