Job Title: Certification Specialist

Join Aging True Senior Services in our mission to provide essential services to seniors in need. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certification Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Certification Specialist will be responsible for evaluating referrals, determining eligibility for our nutrition programs, and providing information and referral services to clients. This role will also involve acting as a liaison with other social service case managers and agencies, verifying services in place for 100% of deliveries, and educating clients about client contribution opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate referrals and determine eligibility for our nutrition programs
  • Provide information and referral services to clients
  • Act as liaison with other social service case managers and agencies
  • Verify services in place for 100% of deliveries
  • Educate clients about client contribution opportunities
  • Handle client complaints when possible
  • Maintain client files and records
  • Provide outreach, nutrition education, and public education as necessary
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or applicable experience
  • Valid Florida driver's license
  • Personal vehicle for travel to clients' homes
  • Current Motor Vehicle Record with no more than two moving violations and no more than one at-fault accident within the past three years
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Organized and team-oriented
  • Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy
Working Conditions:
  • Occasional overtime required
  • Visiting potential clients in their homes
  • Sitting at a computer for up to eight hours a day
  • Lifting capability of 25 to 50 pounds
