About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our RKS Development Team at State Street. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of our Windows client application, utilizing C++ and Visual Studio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new features and bug fixes for our Windows client application
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Prod Support and Client Support, to resolve issues and improve application performance
  • Develop and implement coding standards and best practices for the team
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Work closely with the RKS Development Team to ensure timely delivery of projects and meet business requirements

Requirements

  • Strong C++ development skills, with experience in Windows client application development
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Good understanding of database concepts and SQL queries, with experience in Oracle DB
  • Knowledge of financial market domain, including derivatives, equities, and fixed income mathematics
  • Optional: experience with Git, Java, React JS, Kafka, MQ, Spring Boot, and Tomcat

Education and Qualifications

  • Computer Science or related technical degree
  • Several years of C++ development experience, with a strong understanding of Windows client application development
  • Good communication and leadership skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
