We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Security Manager to join our team at 1440 Multiversity. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety and security plans to mitigate risks and ensure a secure environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security and safety staff, including training and development programs.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Facilities and Safety to develop and implement emergency preparedness and response plans.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on safety and security procedures and protocols.
  • Manage and maintain security equipment and systems, including access control and surveillance systems.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff on safety and security procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct investigations into incidents and accidents, and develop recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety and security role, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective safety and security plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and external agencies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
