  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, addressing any safety concerns immediately.
  • Be available for on-call maintenance during emergencies to ensure guest safety and comfort.
  • Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and report shortages to management.
  • Organize and maintain tools and equipment for efficient use.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Provide supervisors with reports on completed tasks and ongoing projects.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to schedule maintenance activities that minimize guest disruptions.
  • Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs or projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Vocational training or certification in maintenance or a related field is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on experience in maintenance and repairs.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills for interaction with guests, staff, and contractors.
  • Reliable and punctual with a professional appearance.
