Your Responsibilities:


As a Safety and Security Specialist, you will be involved in various essential functions, including:

  • Participating in comprehensive on-the-job training.
  • Managing the Dispatch and Communications Center effectively.
  • Responding to security calls to de-escalate situations involving guests, employees, and the public.

You will also gain valuable experience in overseeing a Dispatch/Communications center and addressing disturbances that require security and law enforcement intervention.


Key Duties Include:
  • Facilitating all park-wide communication through radio, phone, and email.
  • Monitoring weather conditions to ensure the safe operation of rides and attractions.
  • Maintaining records and logs for timely access to critical information.
  • Overseeing video surveillance to guarantee guest safety and enforce park policies.
  • Conducting routine patrols of the park and surrounding areas on foot and in patrol vehicles.
  • Providing a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and vendors.
  • Responding to emergency situations and completing incident reports.
  • Executing assigned tasks from management as required.

  • Capability to promote and ensure a safe environment.

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in writing incident reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer software systems.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to comply with all grooming guidelines and employment standards.
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
