Portable Sanitation Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Portable Sanitation Driver to join our team at United Rentals. As a key member of our Reliable Onsite Services division, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up portable restrooms and other sanitation equipment in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete daily pick-up and delivery routes in sequence as determined by Dispatch personnel
  • Load and deliver portable restrooms, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations, and restroom-shower trailers as needed
  • Maintain professional customer contact and open lines of communication with Dispatcher
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections on vehicles and maintain truck logs
  • Fuel vehicles and other equipment as necessary
  • Quality check on all units and equipment, verifying rent ready status prior to loading and delivering to customer
  • Excellent housekeeping of assigned vehicles and facility
  • Maintain professional demeanor and appearance at all times
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry and safe driving procedures
  • Superior customer service, willing and able to provide this to each customer
  • Diligent attention to safety
  • One (1) year of truck driving experience preferred (CDL license is preferred, but not required), DOT medical card must be obtained prior to commencing employment
  • Industry experience is a plus, but not required (training is provided on products & services)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and positive attitude
  • Ability to mount and dismount trucks multiple times daily
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
  • Ability to drive day or night
  • Work effectively in all weather conditions and customer work environments
