Job Summary:

JP Logistics and Consulting LLC is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to support our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions and ensure the vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned and tied down.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order
* Verify all DOT Hazmat and safety placards are secured and displayed correctly
* Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources and verify routes
* Maintain logs of working hours or vehicle service and repair status
* Properly secure cargo for transport to ensure the load is secure
* Submit reports as required to the JPLC project manager

Qualifications:

* Must have CDL Class A
* Able to operate a 10 speed daycab tractor with a strong ability to back in tight spaces
* Able to drive a 48 foot trailer

Working Hours:

The normal hours of operation for DLA Distribution Corpus Christi Government employees are Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.
