Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team at JP Logistics and Consulting LLC. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL Class A license and experience operating a 10-speed daycab tractor with a 48-foot trailer.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the vehicle is in good working order, including mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment.
  • Verify all DOT Hazmat and safety placards are secured and displayed correctly.
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions and check that the vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned and tied down.
  • Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources and verify instructions and routes.
  • Maintain logs of working hours or vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Properly secure cargo for transport to ensure the load is secure.
  • Submit reports as required to the JPLC project manager on a daily and weekly basis.

Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid CDL Class A license.
  • Able to operate a 10-speed daycab tractor with a strong ability to back in tight spaces.
  • Able to drive a 48-foot trailer.
