Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse with Advocate Aurora Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our Cardiac Cath Lab. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
  • Implement evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current IL RN license
  • BSN preferred, ADN acceptable with agreement for nurses with less than 12 months of experience to enroll in BSN completion program
  • Current AHA CPR certification
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts to accommodate staffing needs
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance and use patient handling equipment as needed
