Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and welcoming Host to join our team at IHOP. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for greeting them, seating them, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities
  • Promptly and cheerfully greet guests as they enter the restaurant and seat them as soon as possible
  • Maintain a waiting list as needed
  • Rotate seating stations and handle complaints while thanking guests and inviting them to return
  • Answer the phone, take messages, and complete to-go orders while maintaining high customer service standards
  • Handle money responsibly by maintaining guest checks
  • Perform restroom cleaning duties and reset tables by cleaning chairs, booths, and floors
Qualifications
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere
