Koniag Technology Solutions, a leading provider of technology solutions to the government sector, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Quantico, VA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to support our government customer in the design and installation of electrical systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in power distribution and lighting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and install electrical systems for commercial, government, and data center facilities
  • Review electrical design drawings and specifications for lighting systems, power distribution, and grounding
  • Perform electrical demand load calculations and generator load calculations
  • Select electrical equipment and size conduits
  • Conduct site visits for data collection and evaluation of electrical systems
  • Provide recommendations to clients and team members
  • Troubleshoot electrical system issues
  • Interpret National Electrical Code
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering
  • 10 years of experience in the design of building electrical systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Top Secret security clearance
Working Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment with a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.

The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations, and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
