Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation and Cleaning: Perform daily sanitation duties, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming of warehouse and office areas.
  • Refuse Removal: Collect and remove refuse from designated areas, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Chemical Management: Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Pest Control: Monitor for pest issues and notify management promptly, taking necessary steps to prevent infestations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining chemical supply inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Notify management of any building repairs or maintenance needs, ensuring prompt attention to prevent disruptions.
  • SSOP Compliance: Perform work in accordance with established Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in distribution or commercial roles, preferably in food settings.
  • Food Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety procedures and protocols.
  • Cleaning Chemicals: Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, reach, carry, climb, push/pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Language Skills: Legally able to work in the US and able to speak and write fluently in English, bilingual a plus.
Work Schedule
  • Shift Schedule: Sunday through Friday, with Saturday and one day off during the week.
  • Start Time: 8:00 AM until work is completed.
  • Holidays and Sundays: Required to work on holidays and Sundays.
