Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Part-time Library Clerk (Courier) to join our team at the Gloucester County Library. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering and mailing library materials, performing various tasks, and providing excellent customer service to our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and mail library materials, including books, documents, and packages, to various locations.
  • Sort and prioritize daily tasks, plan routes, and load vehicles as needed.
  • Assist with moving and delivering surplus materials, and perform tasks at the circulation desk.
  • Shelve books, collect fines and fees, and maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the library vehicle.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Library Coordinator.
Requirements
  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of experience in a customer service environment and some knowledge of library services.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel among various library sites and community venues.
