About the Role

The Maintenance Mechanic is a skilled professional responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all components of treatment facilities and operations buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs, including emergency repairs in the field.
  • Inspect and direct subordinate technicians to perform repairs to all components of heavy vehicles, systems, and equipment.
  • Conduct service road calls.
  • Order supplies and parts.
  • Execute gas and electric welding.
  • Complete equipment maintenance records.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a mechanical role.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time.
  • Demonstrate safety-conscious behaviors.
  • Ability to operate small hand tools, power tools, hand trucks, drill presses, grinders, conveyors, gas welding, brazing or cutting apparatus, and various other heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work in an environment that includes exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, noise level, and outside weather conditions.
