MRI Technologist Job Description

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and be able to operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Position patients and coils on the table to ensure accurate imaging
  • Inject contrast media as required
  • Set technical parameters and operate equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
  • Deliver quality patient care in a professional manner

Requirements:

  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
