Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, performing complex imaging procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and provide instructions on procedures
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
  • Check patient orders to ensure accuracy and authorization
  • Screen patients for MRI safety and research correct safety requirements
  • Operate MRI scanners, power injectors, and related equipment
  • Prepare and dispense oral and intravenous contrast media
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and perform weekly ACR QA
  • Perform exams accurately and evaluate MRI scans for technical quality
  • Provide orientation and training to new MRI technologists and student technologists
  • Provide care for the psychological and physical needs of patients and their families
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology
  • Minimum of two years' experience in radiologic imaging modalities
  • One-year experience in magnetic resonance imaging preferred
  • ARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R)) or Nuclear Medicine (RT(N))
  • Current ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) preferred
  • BLS Certification
