Job Summary:

Mitchell County Regional Health Center is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Pharmacy Support Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of all pharmaceutical care services
  • Supervise pharmacy support personnel
  • Assure quality pharmaceutical care
  • Inventory control and regulatory guideline compliance

Requirements:

  • Completion of a B.S. or Pharm.D. in Pharmacy at an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Iowa Pharmacist licensure, either by examination or by reciprocity
  • One year of hospital pharmacy experience with supervisory experience preferred
  • 3-5 years in a retail, clinical setting preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • High degree of initiative and accuracy
  • Self-motivated with the ability to complete work with a minimum of supervision under rigid time constraints
  • Customer relations skills including meeting customer needs and establishing an exceptional service environment
  • Working knowledge of computer skills including Microsoft office, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Detail oriented with ability to prioritize work
  • Interpersonal skills including building relationships and conflict resolution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
