About the Role

Ochsner Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry team, working nights. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Assess learning needs and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate and delegate nursing team resources effectively, serving as a leader and partner on the Interdisciplinary Team.
  • Use data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change, driving optimal patient outcomes.
  • Embody concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale, contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Adapt behavior to meet the specific needs of our patient population, demonstrating respect for privacy, cultural sensitivity, and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Current RN License in the state of practice
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty area
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
