About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Advanced Practice Provider in Trauma Surgery at Doctors Hospital of Augusta, a leading healthcare provider in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist our Trauma Surgeons in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center environment.
- Round on floor patients and ICU patients, responding to trauma resuscitations and assisting with trauma consultations in the ED.
- Progress notes, H & P, Discharge summaries, and respond to nursing's phone calls.
- Write orders and facilitate patient progression to discharge.
Requirements
- NP/PA GA license (unrestricted), ACLS, BLS, ATLS preferred.
- Clinical background in ED or critical care, strong critical thinking skills, able to function autonomously.
- Strong communication and computer skills, comfortable working across disciplines to facilitate patient care.
