Woodland Heights Medical Center is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Radiology Department. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic equipment and ensuring the efficient daily operation of the M.R.I. Suite(s).

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating patient flow and the activities of the MRI Department
• Setting up and operating the M.R.I. Suite(s) to be utilized in the patient scanning procedure
• Providing patient orientation, procedure explanation, positioning patients, calibrating equipment, pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test and documentation of findings
• Maintaining patient safety through attention to detail, equipment safety checks, adhering to department policies, and effectively communicating with physicians, staff and patients
• Assisting patients with basic patient care needs

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program from an accredited institution
• BLS certification - through an approved AHA program
• Currently licensed as Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with Texas Medical Board (TMB)
• Currently registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT(R)(MR)
