About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team at Ecumenical Retirement. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks in residents' rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, and clinic areas.
  • Operate washers and dryers, vacuum cleaners, and other housekeeping equipment as needed.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or needed repairs to management.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and speak English at a level that allows for safe and efficient performance of the job.
  • Physical ability to perform the tasks required in this role.
