Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Infojini. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently implement patient procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.
  • Explain procedures and equipment to patients, obtain consent when necessary, and maintain patient comfort and privacy.
  • Position patients and MRI equipment for optimal imaging, adjust settings as needed, and use identifying markers appropriately.
  • Follow accepted MRI procedures, review patient information, and determine positioning and technique.
  • Solve problems that arise during patient examinations using technical knowledge and innovation.
  • Assist physicians as needed, perform transmission and/or segmentation for transmission to PACS, and generate high-quality hard copies of images when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of radiographic areas, prepare equipment and supplies for future exams, and recognize medical emergencies.
  • Demonstrate skill in equipment setup, utilization, and maintenance, perform visual and manual quality control checks, and use imaging and peripheral equipment safely and productively.
  • Observe and report equipment malfunctions, notify appropriate personnel, and demonstrate knowledge of computer product printers and minor adjustments to correct malfunctions.
  • Access patient information, follow departmental policy, and maintain department log books in an orderly manner.
  • Effectively assess patients' information and status, plan appropriate procedures, and consult policy and procedure manuals as necessary.
  • Recognize need for and follow isolation precautions, demonstrate skill in setup and administration of IV contrast media, and explain procedures and process of administration to patients.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of recent MRI Tech experience
  • Radiologic Tech License - NYS, Am Registry of Radiologic Tech
  • ARRT Primary Certification/Registration New York State License (Radiologic technology)
  • AHA BLS Certified
