Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, fostering their academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough evaluations to identify and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop Individualized Therapy Plans: Develop and execute individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings and student needs.
  • Provide Direct Therapy: Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group formats.
  • Collaborate with Educational Teams: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to facilitate the integration of therapy goals within the educational setting.
  • Document Student Progress: Maintain detailed records of student assessments, progress notes, and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to contribute to the development of student-specific goals and objectives.
  • Screen and Assess Students: Conduct screenings and assessments to identify students requiring speech-language services.
  • Stay Current with Industry Developments: Stay informed about the latest advancements and research in speech-language pathology.
  • Provide Training and Support: Offer training and support to school personnel and parents to enhance students communication skills.
Requirements:
  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensure: Valid Georgia state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Professional Certification: Professional Standards Commission (PSC) Certification in Speech-Language Pathology for the state of Georgia.
  • Experience: Experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
