We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Endoscopy Technician to join our team at Axelon. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various duties to support the health team in the treatment and care of patients and their families.
- Assist with tasks such as taking and monitoring vital signs, performing EKGs, and setting up oxygen and suction.
- Collect specimens and transport patients and equipment as needed.
- Provide instruction and information to patients and families in a calm and professional manner.
- Initiate CPR and provide necessary items during emergencies.
- Ability to read and write English at a 10th-grade level.
- Ability to perform math at a 9th-grade level.
- Certification as an NA/PCA is preferred.
- AHA HeartSaver or BLS certification is required.
- BCLAS Certificate.
- ACLS Certificate.
- PALS Certificate.
