About the Role

This 15-bed medicine unit at HUP Cedar is staffed with a diverse team of nurses, certified nursing assistants, and unit secretaries. We collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, social work, and case management to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in RN/CNA hand-off communications and unit huddles to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Collect and report patient data in a timely manner to support informed decision-making.
  • Demonstrate safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Notify and escalate data or clinical conditions as necessary to ensure prompt attention.
  • Provide physical support to assist patients with daily living activities, preserving their dignity and promoting independence.
