Job Title: Associate Therapist

Salary: $70,000-$80,000

Job Purpose: The Associate Therapist at Solution Based Therapeutics will deliver therapeutic interventions to individuals participating in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This position entails leading both individual and group therapy sessions, formulating treatment strategies, and collaborating with a diverse team of professionals to assist clients in their recovery process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations of clients to identify their requirements and create tailored treatment strategies.
  • Lead individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
  • Work in conjunction with psychiatrists, medical staff, and fellow therapists to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Track and document clients' progress, modifying treatment strategies as needed.
  • Provide immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Inform clients and their families about substance abuse, coping mechanisms, and strategies for preventing relapse.
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in case discussions, team meetings, and ongoing professional growth opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related discipline.
  • Valid state license or registration as an Associate Therapist (e.g., AMFT, APCC, ASW).
  • Experience in working with individuals facing substance use challenges, ideally in a PHP/IOP environment.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches for substance abuse.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and staying updated with best practices in the field.
