Hybrid Role: Onsite 3 Days a Week
Contract Duration: 1 year
Compensation: $35-38/hr.
Required Education:
- Master's degree or bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR
- Associate degree with 6 years of relevant experience OR
- High school diploma / GED with 8 years of relevant experience
Essential Skills:
- Experience in drug substance biologics process development, pilot plant, or manufacturing technical support
- Expertise in the purification of monoclonal antibodies
- Familiarity with GMP environments, preferably in drug substance
Key Responsibilities:
- The Engineer will utilize knowledge in cell culture and/or purification process engineering to facilitate technology transfer and support clinical/commercial drug substance manufacturing within a cutting-edge manufacturing suite employing single-use technology.
- Collaboration with manufacturing, quality assurance, analytical teams, and bench scientists will be essential to support a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 2-4 years of pertinent experience in drug and animal cell processes.
- Strong foundational knowledge of process engineering.
- Experience in biologics purification and drug substance GMP manufacturing.

We are seeking a skilled Biologics Process Engineering Specialist to contribute to the Drug Substance Technology Engineering team. This role is pivotal in providing process engineering support for human therapeutic products, ensuring a seamless transition from clinical development to commercial production.
