Tax Director

Citrin Cooperman & Co LLP is seeking a highly skilled Tax Director to join our Tax Department in our West Los Angeles office. As a Tax Director, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and leading our commercial tax services team.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze tax returns, tax workpapers, and tax projections to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provide expert consulting, planning, and compliance services to clients
- Perform tax research to resolve complex issues and identify opportunities for improvement
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day needs of clients and tax return process, including identification and resolution of tax issues
- Cross-sell services to clients and assist with tax-related issues
- Participate in industry-related organizations and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Participate in business development activities and contribute to the growth of the tax practice
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Taxation preferred
- CPA certification required; 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple client engagements
- Track record of building and sustaining client relationships and delivering high-quality client service
- Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Proficient in CCH Axcess, Caseware, QuickBooks, CCH Intelliconnect, RIA Checkpoint, XCM, and Microsoft Office
