We are seeking a highly skilled Adjunct Faculty DAA to join our team at the University of Silicon Valley. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching several classes per semester, collaborating with department faculty, and maintaining regular office hours.
Key Responsibilities- Teach classes in character rigging, storyboarding, 2D animation, modeling, lighting and layout, and digital painting
- Collaborate with department faculty to implement curriculum, support students, and improve programs
- Ensure curriculum and syllabi are up-to-date and relevant materials are available

We are looking for a candidate with a Master's Degree in a related field or a Bachelor's Degree with equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working at a professional level with Maya software and teaching experience in an academic or professional setting.
The successful candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds. They will also be skilled in storyboarding, digital painting, rigging, modeling, and 2D animation.
Working ConditionsThis is a part-time position that operates in a professional office environment with extensive people interaction. The successful candidate will be required to sit for long periods, use hands and reach with hands and arms for such activities as keyboarding.
BenefitsThis position is not eligible for benefits.
