Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform initial vision assessments and conduct pupil and visual field evaluations
  • Administer anesthetic and dilating medications as directed by a licensed healthcare professional
  • Conduct ophthalmic imaging studies and perform surgical measurements
  • Coordinate surgical planning and assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in a clinic, medical office, or hospital setting preferred
  • BLS certification within 14 days of hire
