\t* Provide language, speech, and hearing therapy to pupils in assigned schools
\t* Identify pupils with speech and language problems through screening and referral
\t* Assess pupil's speech related needs
\t* Develop an individualized program based on identification, assessment, remediation, and evaluation of speech, language, and hearing needs of pupils
\t* Provide services to students identified
\t* Remediate all areas of speech, language, and hearing handicaps through scheduling of individual and/or group therapy sessions, conferencing, and coordination of services
\t* Evaluate the child and his services
\t* Modify the program to provide improved service
\t* Develop a system for record keeping
\t* Refer pupils, when indicated, to nurses, psychologists, and others for further evaluations related to their speech, language, and hearing problems
\t* Confer with parents and school personnel concerning pupils with speech, language, and hearing problems
\t* Provide regular reports to parents, teachers, and coordinator administrators on the progress of pupils receiving therapy or on waiting lists
\t* Interpret the services offered by the Speech and Hearing Department and the other County Office Programs
\t* Attend meetings of staff, parents, teachers, and others relating to the program and County Office
\t* Carry out other assignments that may be delegated by the County Superintendent or coordinator
