Job Summary

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness seeking an experienced Agronomy Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and lead a team of employees at our state-of-the-art facility in Park Rapids, MN. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for agriculture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee operations at multiple locations, evaluating and communicating results to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage operations according to divisional objectives, providing patrons with prompt, courteous, and effective service while maintaining efficiency and maximizing profit.
  • Develop and implement procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within the organization.
  • Manage location and/or sales managers on programs, pricing, and overall strategy.
  • Develop and manage operating, capital, and lease budgets.
  • Manage the workforce through responsible training, clear job assignment definition, and effective performance management.
  • Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and programs to support sales and revenue objectives.
  • Oversee and ensure inventory is accurately accounted for.
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture, following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
  • Prior leadership experience with progressively advancing level of leadership responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous Agribusiness/Location management or Grain Sales experience
  • Ability to motivate and lead team members
