Job Summary

Lawson State Community College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Nursing Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our nursing program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality instruction to students in our nursing program.
  • Prepare and teach courses in nursing, including lectures, discussions, and laboratory sessions.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students and the nursing profession.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement program goals and objectives.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department chair or dean.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing education or a related field.
  • Ability to teach a variety of nursing courses, including pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
