Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Chemistry Instructor to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching chemistry courses at the freshmen and sophomore levels, as well as performing other duties associated with institutional effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver instruction for credited academic and technical courses in chemistry.
  • Supervise students in laboratory settings and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Develop and implement laboratory projects that relate theory to practical application.
  • Administer written and performance examinations to determine student progress.
  • Record student attendance and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in departmental orientation and adhere to college policies and procedures.
Qualifications

A Master's degree in chemistry or a related field is required, with 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. The successful candidate must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
