- Oversee and execute capital enhancement initiatives.
- Conduct SAP Routings and Capacity Analyses.
- Provide on-site support for daily operational challenges.
- Assist in the quoting process alongside the Operations team.
- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives for new processes, leveraging insights from past experiences to meet plant objectives.
- Diagnose and resolve process and equipment issues.
- Design machinery, controls, fixtures, tooling, and gauging systems.
- Develop and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programming.
- Guide suppliers in the design of tools and fixtures.
- Ensure compliance of fixtures and tools with quality and safety standards.
- Support the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Create documentation for manufacturing processes, including Work Instructions, SOPs, Control Plans, and PFMEAs.
- Design and optimize plant layout.
- Assist the Purchasing Department with technical inquiries from vendors.
- Lead the quoting process for customer-owned tooling, coordinating with the Purchasing team.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering roles.
- Proficient in Advanced Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and HMI programming.
- Knowledge of FMEA methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory; sponsorship for employment visas is not available for this position.
Preferred:
- 7 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering.
- Experience in rubber extrusion and vulcanization processes.
