Job Title: CDL Driver

American Track is seeking a skilled and reliable Class A CDL Driver to transport heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed/low-boy trailer in various conditions.
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections/safety checks with documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines and company policies.
  • Report safety issues and repairs required.
  • Maintain records for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver's record of duty status and mileage records.
  • Obey traffic laws and keep the truck in a clean and orderly condition.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 years of experience driving Class A vehicles.
  • Valid Class A driver's license and medical card.
  • Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) may be required.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug test.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission (13 speed) and lift items weighing at least 50 pounds.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State DOT laws.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills.
