Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist will provide support to the case conference committee in identifying areas of needs for students with speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultative and direct services to students with speech, language, and/or voice disorders.
  • Collaborate with district supervisors, teachers, parents, and students to ensure staff are aware of development needs.
  • Develop and implement diagnostic and intervention services for students with speech, language, and/or voice disorders.

Requirements:

  • A Speech-Language Pathologist must hold a valid license from the relevant state education department and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification is preferred.
  • Licensing Area(s) include, but are not limited to, Speech Pathologist, Speech and Hearing Therapist, Speech Language and Hearing Clinician, or Communication Disorders.
  • This position requires an active driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel locally.

  • This position requires working independently as well as part of a team.
  • This position requires verbal and in-person contact with others on a daily basis.
