This role will be based at various locations, supporting the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) Financial Planning and Reporting Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the forecasting process with a focus on precision and reliability.
- Conduct economic research and analysis on topics such as return rates, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial comparisons.
- Oversee monthly forecasts and status updates concerning income statements, awards, and backlog.- Prepare monthly rolling forecast deliverables and variance reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial deliverables related to quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC).
- Generate the Division EAC scorecard report.
- Confirm that profit plans align with quarterly EACs and address discrepancies and necessary adjustments.
- Prepare and verify backlog adjustments, ensuring total division backlog accuracy.
- Lead annual backlog reviews and validations for completed programs.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance financial reporting processes to improve efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
Principal Finance Analyst:
Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience in financial analysis or related fields, or a Master's degree with 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency in SAP HANA or SAP S/4 Hana.- Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including Macros, Pivot tables, and V-Lookups).
- Capability to obtain and maintain US Secret Clearance; US citizenship is required.
Senior
Principal Finance Analyst:
Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience in financial analysis or related fields, or a Master's degree with 8 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency in SAP HANA or SAP S/4 Hana.- Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including Macros, Pivot tables, and V-Lookups).
- Capability to obtain and maintain US Secret Clearance; US citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret level security clearance.
Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience in financial analysis or related fields, or a Master's degree with 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with Planning Analytics for Excel (PAX).- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of EVMS/FAR/DFARS.
Salary Range:
$84,600 - $157,300
The above salary range serves as a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining base salary offers, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
