About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist II to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Surgical Technologist II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of surgical equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure aseptic technique and maintain a clean and safe environment in the operating room.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure timely and efficient completion of procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
  • Current Surgical Technologist Certification required within one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 4 years' experience as Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting is preferred.
