Intellectual Property Law Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Paralegal to join our team at Liberty Personnel Services, Inc.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property law and experience in patent prosecution. As an Intellectual Property Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing support to our attorneys in all aspects related to intellectual property matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting research and analysis on intellectual property rights and laws to obtain relevant information for our attorneys.
- Assisting in the preparation and filing of patent applications, trademark registrations, and copyright applications.
- Managing a database of intellectual property assets, including maintaining accurate records and updating relevant information.
- Reviewing and analyzing patent and trademark search results to identify potential conflicts or infringements.
- Assisting with due diligence investigations related to intellectual property matters in mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships.
- Preparing and reviewing legal documents, such as agreements, contracts, license agreements, and assignments.
- Communicating with clients, government agencies, and foreign associates regarding intellectual property matters.
- Providing support in administrative tasks, like managing docketing systems, tracking deadlines, and maintaining filing systems.
- Assisting in the enforcement of intellectual property rights, including drafting cease and desist letters and filing infringement lawsuits.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year.
