About the Job:

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and safety in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgical teams with various procedures, maintaining aseptic technique and adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, including setup and operation of equipment.
  • Collaborate with nurses and surgeons to ensure seamless workflow and efficient case management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or successful completion of an approved surgical technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull carts, and stand for long periods.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as holiday pay, guaranteed hours, continuing education opportunities, and more.
