Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Person to join our team at Alter Trading Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain plant productivity by proactively managing maintenance functions.
  • Perform welding and fabrication work on stationary equipment.
  • Ensure proper parts inventory and maintain facility equipment.
  • Repair, install, troubleshoot, set up, and adjust equipment, ensuring maximum utilization of company machines and equipment.
  • Responsible for inventory management of maintenance supplies and utilization of personnel and equipment to maximize processing capabilities.
  • Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric systems, PLC, valves, cylinders, bearings, and electric motors.
  • Check with key operations to ensure all equipment is running properly and schedule maintenance as required.
  • Prepare and maintain all maintenance records and daily reports.
  • Assign, review, and check work of maintenance done by employees, providing on-the-job training as needed.
  • May be involved in ordering parts, welding, fabricating, and performing minor electrical repairs.
  • Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Working Conditions
