About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure smooth production operations
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting and repair of equipment failures to minimize production losses
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve mechanical issues
  • Develop and implement best practices aligned with Niagara's maintenance strategies
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and efficiency

Requirements:

  • 6 years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with Krones, Husky, Sidel, or other packaging or bottling equipment
  • Skilled in fabrication capabilities such as cutting and welding
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for process and instrumentation diagrams
