About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Mechanic to join our team at BNSF Railway. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our locomotives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and repair diesel engine components, including running gears, brake systems, and fuel systems.
  • Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Diagnose malfunctions in diesel engines, air equipment, and trucks.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality.

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work safely in extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
