Job Summary:

The Chateau at Brooklyn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation and nursing center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out best practice treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
  • Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
  • Document patient's progress on weekly progress notes in a timely fashion.
  • Collaborate with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care.
  • Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours, and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid professional license and registration for the state of practice.
  • Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
  • Well-versed with documentation writing.
  • Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence.
