Part-Time Maintenance Professional

ABM of Ohio seeks a reliable Part-Time Maintenance Professional to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned areas. This position is ideal for individuals looking for a Monday through Friday, 5PM to 9PM schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain buildings/facilities, including heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall washing, and rubbish removal.
- Notify management about minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Establish effective communication and working relationships with clients, coworkers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
- Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them, following procedures to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Sometimes using ladders, dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; clean ceilings and dust and polish light fixtures.
- Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas manually or using hand trucks.
- Removes stains from surfaces like rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
- Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
- Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors.
- Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment.
- Gathers and empties trash.
- Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
- Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
- Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms.
- Cleans interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Sprays insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.
- Sets up, arranges, and removes decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events.
- Must keep janitor's closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order.
- Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Monitors building security and safety by performing tasks like locking doors after hours and checking electrical appliance use.
- Drives vehicles (if required) to perform or travel to cleaning work.
- May be expected to make basic repairs.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must meet all requirements for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.
- Customer Service Experience.
- 1 year of similar work experience.
ABM of Ohio offers a competitive hourly rate of $15-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
